Located in the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee, our Western Timber Dogs enjoy 10 acres of natural woodlands and rolling hills. They live in a cage-free environment, spending much of their time in our home as part of our family.

Our dogs are of impeccable health and temperament and we do full genetic health testing on all breeding dogs to ensure a healthy, happy pet for you and your family.

Our puppies are born and raised in our home, where they are handled from just a few hours of age, and socialized using early neurological stimulation, exposure to many different situations, sounds, sights, and smells.

All of our pups are WTDA registered and pedigreed, with an emphasis on preservation and betterment of the Western Timber Dog breed.

Your new family member will come home up to date on their vaccinations, deworming, socialization and we do offer a genetic health guarantee and lifelong support and guidance on all of our puppies.

Western Timber Dogs are a wolfdog breed, they have been selectively bred for over 30 years to reduce or eliminate the wild behaviors associated with wolf hybrids. They maintain all the beauty and splendor of the wolfdog, but behaviorally, they are most akin to a German Shepherd or a Siberian Husky. Like all dogs in the wolfdog classification, they do require a fenced yard, dig guards, lots of socialization, and exercise.

While the original wolf hybrids used in this breed were extremely large animals, some weighing in over 120lbs, the overall breed average of the Western Timber Dog has been reduced to a more suitable size for a family pet. Males average 85lbs and females average 75lbs. They do have wolf content and will test positive for wolf content. Be sure to check your local regulations pertaining to wolfdogs or wolf hybrids.
